Bending Backwards with Bharat Scouts and Guides!!!

The Bharat Scouts & Guides education movement was initiated at KLESIS with the sole aim of igniting the spark of ethical behaviour.It is a voluntary, non-political Educational Movement for young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race or creed, in accordance with the purpose, principles and method conceived by the Founder Lord Baden- Powell in 1907.

The Aim of Scouting and Guiding is four-fold. The first is the formation of character; the second is the formation of sound health habits. The third is the training in handicraft and acquiring useful skills; and the fourth is the cultivation of a proper spirit of service efficiently. This four fold path definitely equips each one with the right moral conduct and love for society which is the need of the hour.

Scouts and Guides Founders Day

On the occasion of Scouts and Guides Founders day, the Scouts and Guides team conducted a rally to create an awareness about NO PLASTIC ZONE and visited a few retail shops in the neighbourhood and distributed paper bags amongst the public to create an awareness about the importance of paper and say no to plastic bag. The students also gifted roses to those miscreants, who drove without helmets. It served then right as they promised to dedicatedly wear helmets in the future.

Bharath Scouts and Guides Camp

KLES' International School, Belagavi had organised the Bharath Scouts and Guides Camp for 2 days on 23rd and 24th July 2022. The Chief Guests were Shri. D. B. Attar, Assistant State Organising Commissioner (Scout), Shri N Srinivas, leader of the trainee scouts and Shri P B Patil , Scouts leader, Gokak.

Scouts and Guides Trip to Lingaraj Nursery

The Bharath Scouts and Guides team of KLES' International School, Belagavi, visited the Lingaraj Nursery to study the efficacy of Organic Composting, on the occasion of World Environment Day and pledged to create an awareness about the necessity of maintaining the nutritional content of the soil for better yields.

Scout and Guide movement.

The students of KLES' International School, Belagavi, officially inducted into the Scout and Guide movement.

KLES' International School NCC unit attended the ATC-III Camp, which was conducted at 26, Kar Bn NCC,Jadhav Nagar, Belagavi from 1st June to 10th June 2019.
The Investiture Ceremony which is one of the most momentous occasions for the Scouts and Guides was organized on 27th February 2019 in KLES' International School, Belagavi, to contribute

 

to the development of the Scouts and Guides in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of the local, national and international communities.
The smartly dressed students stood in a horseshoe formation around the flag. The programme began with the singing of the Prayer Song after which the students hoisted the Bharat Scouts and Guides flag. The students gave the Scout/Guide salute and sang the Flag song. The students then took the Scout/Guide promise. The Scouts were called forward to receive their scarves followed by the Guides at the hands of the Chief Guest, Mr. Prakash Patil. 13 students have received the Rashtrapati award and 10 students, the Rajya puraskar from the Governor under his guidance. He completed Pre ALT in 2017.
He addressed the gathering with an inspiring message about the need to build character, to be independent and to live life in a disciplined manner. The ceremony created an attitude of staying together, sharing and caring, apart from inculcating the art of living and adapting to the values of life.
Principal, Dipti Ingley, stated that the induction paved the way for learning to be clean, courteous and also honed the leadership qualities amongst students.
