के.एल.ई अंतरराष्ट्रीय विद्यालय में हिंदी दिवस का शानदार समारोह संपन्न (कार्यालय प्रतिनिधि द्वारा)हिंदी दिवस समारोह का आयोजन किया गया सुबह 10:00 बजे समारोह आरंभ हुआ ।इस कार्यक्रम के लिए विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या व हिंदी विभागाध्यक्ष, अन्य हिंदी शिक्षक वर्ग उपस्थित थी। इस दिवस के अवसर पर छात्रों ने भाषण, हास्य नाटक, हास्य कविता, मुहावरों पर संवाद, चुटकुले ,पहेलियाँ वह गीत प्रस्तुत किए। इस कारण छात्र-छात्राओं में आनंदमय वातावरण था। परिसर तालियों से गूंज उठ रहा था।


International Day of Democracy!

On the occasion of International Day of Democracy, the Karnataka government was all geared up to spread the aspirations of democracy and took the lead by building the longest human chain from Bidar to Chamarajanagar, covering all 31 districts of Karnataka.

KLES' International School, Belagavi, contributed wholeheartedly, in forming the 2,500-km-long human chain marking the International Day of Democracy on Sunday September 15, 2024.


NATIONAL SPACE DAY!

KLES' International School, Belagavi on 23rd August 2024, took great pride in commemorating the grand success of the Chandrayaan Mission III, which set a new benchmark in space exploration. India became the fourth country to land on the moon and first to reach its southern polar region on August 23, 2023.

This year's maiden National Space Day with the theme' Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India's Space Saga' is a cause for celebration as the ISRO scientists endured all odds to make this mission a success.

The rich legacy of scientific fervour and inclination, handed over to us by the great mathematicians and philosophers, Aryabhatta, Bhaskar and Varahamihir had been devotedly carried forward by our former scientists like Dr Vikram Sarabhai, Dr Satish Dhawan and Dr Abdul Kalam. Taking this cue, the present-day scientists have spared no efforts to nurture and design sustainable missions in space.

KLESIS was in the forefront in observing National Space Day by immersing itself in activities which reflected on the wonders of scientific inventions, discoveries and explorations in space and kindled the flame of curiosity, exploration, appreciation and gratefulness.

Principal Mrs Dipti Ingley extolled the virtues of scientific endeavors which unravel the unanswered questions in space and advised to consistently develop the immense power of observation and inquisitiveness for unlocking the mysteries in our surroundings for the benefit of mankind.

The activities conducted for each grade are as follows:

  2. Grade 2 : Delivered a presentation on the Chandrayaan III Mission.
  3. Grades 3 : 4: Participated in solving an online picture puzzle.
  4. Grades 5 & 6 : Worked on solving an online picture builder.
  5. Grade 7 : Explored an online graphic novel focused on the Chandrayaan III Mission.
  6. Grade 8: Took part in an online space quiz.
  7. Grades 9 & 10: Presented on the Chandrayaan III Mission.

Celebrating 78 Years of Independence!

India marks its 78th Independence Day on August 15, commemorating the historic moment in 1947 when the nation gained freedom after over 200 years of British rule. This day is a tribute to the courageous freedom fighters who played a pivotal role in securing our independence.

KLES' International School, Belagavi, joined the nation in celebrating this significant day with great enthusiasm.

The theme for this year, 'Viksit Bharat @ 2047,' aligns with the government's vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. The school's celebrations were a vibrant showcase of patriotism, featuring cultural performances, flag hoisting, speeches, and patriotic song competitions.

The school campus was adorned with flags, posters, flowers, and rangolis, all reflecting the patriotic spirit and honoring the sacrifices made for our freedom. Principal, Mrs. Dipti Ingley, emphasized the importance of our commitment to building a stronger, more united nation. She urged everyone to honor the legacy of our forefathers by working towards a brighter and better future for India.


77th Birthday Celebration of Our Visionary Leader, Dr Prabhakar Kore, Chairman KLE Society

KLES' International School, Belagavi, is extremely proud to celebrate the 77th birthday of Honourable Dr Prabhakar Kore. This incredible personality has been instrumental in the phenomenal growth of KLE Society and welfare of the community. Revered as the eighth Saptarishi,

Respected Dr Prabhakar Kore has played a pivotal role in elevating our society to unprecedented heights. Under his visionary guidance, the KLE Society has achieved the dream of providing top-notch healthcare services, state-of-the-art educational hubs, and well-equipped research centres. His contributions have not only enriched the lives of countless individuals but have also been vital in building a sustainable society. As we honour this remarkable individual, we reflect on the legacy of excellence and commitment that continues to inspire us all.

The celebrations at KLESIS included a cake-cutting ceremony by the students of Class I. The students expressed their deepest gratitude and wishes by creating beautiful cards and paintings. High school students visited "Jesus Cares Lomax Ashram" and 'Maheshwari Blind School' to spend time with the residents and share their experiences, spreading joy and warmth. Overall, it was a wonderful celebration filled with heartfelt gestures and blessings. We wish our distinguished Dr Prabhakar Kore Sir, a very happy birthday and continued success in all his endeavours.

Appreciating the Academically inclined!

The Scholars' Badge ceremony for the academic year 2023-24 was held at KLES' International School, Belagavi on the 18th and 19th July, 2024 for the meritorious students from classes III to X. The guests of honour for the primary and secondary sections were Mr Manjunath S. Pai, Radio Jockey Venudhwani 90.4 FM, Belagavi and Dr Suhas Kumar Shetty, Principal and Medical Director of KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research (KAHER’s), Shri B M Kankanawadi Ayurveda respectively.

The guests in their address fostered the spirit of discipline and time management, and these could be assets only if combined with good physical and mental health.

Principal, Mrs Dipti Ingley, stressed the necessity of grit and determination in the pursuit of knowledge. She congratulated all the students for displaying unwavering focus in aiming high. The ceremony also included varied cultural performances which added a riot of colors to the event.

Investiture Ceremony at KLESIS!

KLES' International School, Belagavi's Investiture Ceremony which was conducted on 15th and 16th July 2024, for the high school and primary school, respectively was a memorable event that signified the appointment of the new student council for the academic year 2024-2025. The ceremony was conducted with great fanfare and the guests were accorded a warm welcome with a song and dance sequence which gave the right head start to the next proceedings.

The investiture ceremony included a formal procession, where the outgoing student council members handed over their responsibilities to the newly elected leaders. The Badge Ceremony and Torch Ceremony motivated the Council to be the best version of their own self. The Head Boy and Head Girl addressed the gathering and pledged to devote wholeheartedly by fulfilling their responsibilities and bringing out the best in each of their council members.

Chief Guests, Dr Preeti Dodwad Coordinator KLE Schools, Lt. Col. To further reinforce the timeless benefits of reading, 'The English Reading Month' activities were organized for grades 1 to 10 in the month of June. The activities included:

Yoga for Self and Society!

The 10th International Day of Yoga has embraced the theme: "Yoga for Self and Society." Celebrated annually on June 21, this United Nations-designated day underscores the physical health benefits, mental well-being, and ancient traditions of yoga. KLES' International School honored the occasion with a vibrant celebration. The event featured Smt. Savitri Shettemmanavar, a National Yoga Referee, as the chief guest, who highlighted the significance of yoga. Students performed a rhythmic yoga dance, and the entire school participated in yoga exercises. Principal Mrs. Dipti Ingley also emphasized the importance of yoga to the students.

'International Reading Day'

KLES' International School, Belagavi celebrated International Reading Day with enthusiastic participation from students of classes I to X. Organized under the CBSE Reading Mission programme, the event aims to foster good reading habits and enhance cognitive skills among young learners. Students brought their favorite books to school for a dedicated reading session. At home, students engaged with the CBSE Reading app powered by Freadom, contributing to a Guinness World Record attempt for the highest number of readers simultaneously. A special assembly was conducted, featuring a reading pledge and various innovative activities to commemorate the occasion. 'Orientation Program for parents of Grade1'

The Eco club took center stage with a soul-stirring song dedicated to 'Love Mother Earth'. A captivating Science walk led by students from grades 3 to 6 provided an interactive exploration of scientific principles in action. An illuminating presentation on the Raman Effect captivated the audience. Meanwhile, the 7th and 8th graders inspired their peers with their ingenuity and dedication. The intellectual prowess of the students was put to the test in a lively quiz. Principal Ma'am delivered an impassioned address, emphasizing the pivotal role of science in shaping the future and urging students to embrace curiosity and inquiry.

DAAYITVAM Initiative at KLES' International School Brings Joy and Inclusion!!

In a heartwarming event held on February 10th, 2024, KLES' International School, Belagavi, in collaboration with Banyan, hosted DAAYITVAM, an initiative spearheaded by esteemed Dr. Preeti Doddwad, Coordinator of KLES' Schools.

DAAYITVAM is dedicated to catering to the needs of children with special requirements and the elderly, integrating them seamlessly into mainstream activities through a series of engaging and uplifting activities.

The event, which took place at KLES' International School, Belagavi, witnessed a gathering filled with joy and a spirit of inclusivity. Lingaraj Jayanti Celebration!!

KLES' International School, Belagavi, celebrated the 163rd birth anniversary of Shirasangi Lingaraj on 10th January, 2024. Shirasangi Lingaraj Desai was an Indian philanthropist and ruler king and the last provincial ruler of Shirasangi province and is revered by one and all, till date, for his humility and great leadership qualities.

The celebration commenced with insightful speeches delivered by principal, Mrs Dipti Ingley, students and teachers and shed light on the life and teachings of Shirasangi Lingaraj. The cultural dances, songs and speeches provided a platform for fostering a deeper understanding of the significance of contributions and values reflected by the great social reformer and educationist.

The Christmas celebration at KLES' International School, Belagavi was a festive affair filled with joy and excitement. Students participated in various activities, including carol singing, a nativity play, and festive decorations throughout the school premises. Mathematics Day!

The Mathematics Day event at KLES' International School, Belagavi was a celebration of numerical wonders and mathematical brilliance. The program featured a diverse array of presentations and speeches, showcasing the enthusiasm and talent among the students which provided insightful comparisons, shedding light on distinct mathematical perspectives. The students beautifully captured the life of the great mathematician, S. Ramanujan and the concepts on Infinity in their presentations.

Mathalon activities were conducted to test the reasoning and logical thinking skills of the students across all age groups.

Inspiring Reflections on Values and Principles!

On November 26, 2023,

KLES International School in Belagavi commemorated Constitution Day. Grade 8D organized a special assembly where students eloquently discussed the values and principles embedded in the Constitution. Mrs. Renuka Nannoji administered the pledge, emphasizing the significance of the values within.

Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW)

"Say no to corruption; commit to the nation"

KLES' International School, Belagavi, observed the "Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW)- 2023" from 30.10.2023 to 05.11.2023 and organized various activities to commemorate the event.

They displayed banners, hoardings posters etc. during the VAW - 2023. The Integrity Pledge was administered by the students of class X to XII, teachers and other staff members of the school on 30.10.2023 in the school foyer. The students were also sensitized about the ill effects of corruption in society and encouraged to promote moral values.

Slogans/poster competitions on moral values, ethics, good governance practices etc. covering the theme of VAW-2023 so as to generate healthy debate on corruption and for ensuring active participation of students of schools, were organised.

The VAW-2023 created the right impact amongst the students and instilled in them the values of integrity and devotion.

Children's Day- 2023

Childhood Innocence!

Children's Day was celebrated at KLES' International School, Belagavi on 9th November 2023.

The grade 1, 2 & 3 students enjoyed a special assembly accompanied by music and dance with Shiamak Davar troupe and the dance teacher, Farhan sir. Special games were conducted for the tiny tots. The rest of the grades till class XII enjoyed a day out at JNMC food fest. It was a day well spent with students cherishing the fun times spent with their friends and teachers.

Karnataka Rajyotsava (Karnataka Formation Day) is celebrated on 1st November every year to commemorate the formation of the state of Karnataka.

The celebration included cultural events, the hoisting of the Karnataka flag, fancy dress, speeches and skit. Principal, Mrs Dipti Ingley said "It is a significant day for all of us as the culture and heritage of Karnataka are beautifully portrayed by recalling the trials and tribulations of legendary figures"

National Sports Day

'Sports as an enabler for an inclusive and fit society'
The National Sports Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of hockey legend Dhyan Chand was celebrated with great pride at KLES ' International School, Belagavi. A special assembly highlighting the significance of sports and games was conducted successfully amidst unwavering sportsman spirit.

The guests of honour, Ms Simran Gaundalkar, a para swimming champion at the national and international level , with a medal tally of 21 gold and 4 silver and Mr Jai Shailesh Prabhu who has represented the state and the country at various national and international Yoga events (Medal tally: 51 gold, 32 silver and 15 bronze), won the hearts of one and all.

We are proud to share the highlights of our recent Anti-Bullying Week at KLES' International School Belagavi under the guidance of Principal, Mrs. Dipti Ingley.

Poster Making and Slogan Writing (August 7, 2023): Students from grades 6th to 10th showcased their creativity and commitment to kindness by participating in our Poster Making and Slogan Writing event. Their powerful messages against bullying are now displayed proudly throughout our school.

Anti-Bullying Presentation by Dr. Vinayak Koparde: Dr. Vinayak Koparde, Associate Professor of JNM College and CDC at KLES' Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital MRC Belagavi, enlightened our students with an informative presentation about the impact of bullying and the importance of fostering a safe and inclusive school environment.

Panel Discussion (August 16, 2023): Our students took the lead in a thought-provoking Panel Discussion, where they shared their experiences, presented role-plays, and provided heartfelt insights on the prevention of bullying. The event featured inspiring videos and discussions that left us all empowered and determined to stand against bullying.

India proudly steps into its 77th Independence Day on 15th August this year, commemorating 76 years of cherished freedom. The theme for this year's celebration is -Nation First, Always First ; a part of the grand “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” festivities. KLES' International School, Belagavi joined in the festivities by exhibiting exemplary display of finesse in the March past and patriotic song competitions. Fiery speeches portraying the spirit of unity and freedom rent the air. The celebration was a visual delight with the students from classes I to XII waving the national flag and singing the national anthem in unison.

The birthday celebrations on 1st August began with a Special Assembly for Class VIII to X where the students expressed their gratitude to the great visionary through their powerful speeches and melodious songs. The tiny toys cut the cake to honour their revered Chairman Sir.

Class VIII students visited Shri Chanamma Hiremath, an old age home to spread good will and cheer and distributed food gains, fruits and sweets to the residents.

Principal, Mrs Dipti Ingley along with the teachers and students, has wished beloved Chairman Sir, a year filled with an abundance of good health, success and boundless opportunities. May you continue to inspire, lead and create success stories, as you have done over the years.

Investiture Ceremony-2023

‘Empowering Leadership’

On July 26th, 2023, KLES' International School,Belagavi held its Investiture ceremony, a momentous event filled with pride and enthusiasm. The occasion marked the appointment of the new student council for the academic year. The ceremony was conducted with great fervor, with students, teachers, and parents in attendance to witness this significant event.

The Chief guests, IPS Hanumanth Raaya, Ms Anna Kuhnt, Deputy Director/ Head of language Department at Goethe-Institute, MsNeelakshi Baruah, Project Co-ordinator, Goethe-Institute/Max Mueller Bhavan and Ms Rupali Kagi, Principal of KLE Lingaraj School, were entertained with a welcome song and dance to set the right note to the much-acclaimed event which was the cynosure of all eyes; parents and well-wishers alike. The investiture ceremony commenced with a formal procession, where the outgoing student council members handed over their responsibilities to the newly elected leaders. The Badge ceremony and Torch ceremony created the right impetus by infusing renewed vigor and energy amongst the new cabinet. The newly appointed student council members were adorned with sashes and badges, symbolizing their positions and responsibilities within the school. The Head Boy and Head Girl addressed the gathering and promised to contribute their best in setting new benchmarks.

Kargil Vijay Diwas

On 26th July, on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, we paid tribute to the courageous soldiers of our country who achieved a magnificent victory against the enemy in the Kargil War. In recognition of their exceptional service, Colonel S. Darshan, Admin Officer Colonel Shankar Yadav, and Subedar Major Nilesh Desai were felicitated by ANO Amrutagouda SM. The Principal and Staff of KLES' International School conveyed their heartfelt appreciation through a congratulatory letter and sweet treats.

Celebrating Academic Excellence

KLES' International School conducted the Scholars&' Badge Ceremony for Classes III to XI. The Chief guests were Mr Vishwanath Kamagol(Principal KLES’ RLS, PU College Belagavi) and Ms Swatee Jog (Founder, Eeshanya Ventures Online lifestyle store).

The Scholars' Badge ceremony, a much-awaited event that recognizes and honors the academic achievements of students from classes III to XI was held on 5th and 6th July 2023, and was a testament to the dedication, hard work, and academic excellence displayed by the young scholars. It was also a true reflection of the school's commitment to fostering a culture of academic excellence.

The International Yoga Day was celebrated at KLES' International School, Belagavi on 21st June, 2023.

Yoga Guru, Shri Muralidhar Prabhu was the esteemed guest on this momentous occasion which promoted peace and harmony.

Principal, Mrs Dipti Ingley instilled the virtue of mindfulness and unity, in the students, on this International Yoga Day.

World Environment Day 2023

Led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and held annually on 5th June, since 1973, World Environment Day is the largest global platform for environmental public outreach and is celebrated by millions of people across the world. It's the 50th year today and this year the theme pertains to 'Solutions to plastic pollution'.

This underscores the importance of this World Environment Day in mobilizing transformative action from every corner of the world.

The esteemed guests for today's plantation drive at KLES' International School, Belagavi were

The school choir group and Miss Daksha Bevinmarad entertained the dignitaries with their song and dance performances.

The students from Class 12 and the 26 KAR Bat NCC troop along with ANO participated in the plantation drive, conducted in the school premises.

National Science Day

Global Science for Global Wellbeing!!

The National Science Day is celebrated on 28th February to mark the invention of 'Raman Effect' by the renowned Indian physicist , Sir C.V. Raman. The theme for National Science Day 2023 is ' Global Science for Global Wellbeing'. It aims to motivate the students to gain minds-on experience in the field of science.

The students effectively conveyed the theme of Global Science for Global Wellbeing by staging a skit, rendering speeches on our greatest scientists and portraying the necessity of being globally sensitive through songs and presentations. The Principal and HOD's were gifted saplings to promote a green and clean environment.

The pledge was administered by Principal, Mrs. Dipti Ingley who remarked about our country's emerging global role and the urgent need to increase awareness regarding Science and Technology. The wellbeing of the world in the future is dependent on our sustainable practices in the present.

An exhibition was held to ignite the scientific temperament in the young minds. The students exhibited various models and projects on Robotics, Nanotechnology and Environmental concerns.

Miss Sharadi Hegde was felicitated on this momentous occasion as she won the I prize at the prestigious Inter School Science Exhibition at Veerabhadreshwara English Medium School, Godachi.

Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi interacted in the 6th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha on 27th January, 2023 with students, teachers and gave them his tips on how to deal with exam stress, student-teacher connection, social media distractions and more.

Pariksha pe Charcha was telecast live from Talkatora Indoor stadium, New Delhi and watched by students and teachers at KLES' International School, Belagavi, from 11 am onwards.

Bharat Mata ki Jai!!!

The 74th Republic Day is a matter of great pride for Indians, as we look back at the progress and achievements garnered over the past years since our independence. Being recognized as the next superpower is by no means a minuscule task and we indeed appreciate the sacrifices and commitment of our national leaders who have placed India on the global map of name and fame. The Constitution of India came into effect on 26th January, 1950. This replaced the Government of India Act 1935 as the governing document of India, thus turning the nation into a republic separate from British Raj.

To commemorate this historic day, KLES' International School, Belagavi, paid rich tributes to all the patriots who shaped our rich legacy.

Master Advait Dalvi who bagged the Gold medal in the 50 mtr. back stroke at the CBSE National Swimming Championship, Gujarat, was felicitated on this occasion for his success at the National Level.

Also the Mathlon 2022-2023 winners, Ms Saanvi Kumbar, Ms Ira Prabhu and runners-up, Ms Likitha S, Ms Tapasya Pujar were applauded for their brilliant performance in the quiz.

Patriotic songs, dances and speeches were the highlight of the event which marked patriotic fervor and gaiety.

Principal Mrs Dipti Ingley spoke about the relevance of celebrating Republic Day in present times with great gusto, the onus of which lay on each and every one of us so that India would certainly be a force to reckon with.

The Spirit Of India'

The Annual Day Celebration 2022-23 of KLES' International School, Belagavi, was a spectacular event which received praise and appreciation from all quarters due to well-conceived ideas and mind-blowing presentation by the students and staff alike. It was a 2- day event at Jirge Auditorium, JNMC Campus, Belagavi.

The Chief Guests for the primary and secondary sections on 23 rd December 2022, were Mrs S. Aruna (President of Air Force families Welfare Association)

and Col. Vinay Taneja (Secretary, Station Officers Institute. Belagavi) respectively, along with the Guests of Honor, Dr. Alka Kale (Principal, Dental College, Belagavi), and Dr. Basavraj G Katageri (Principal, KLE Dr. M.S. Sheshgiri College of Engineering).

Dr. Prabhakar Kore (Chairman, KLE Society) graced the occasion in the evening session and applauded the brilliant performances of the students. Dr. Preeti Doddwad(Coordinator, KLES' English Medium Schools) graced the occasion on 24 th December 2023 for the middle school section Annual day celebration and appreciated the inexhaustible efforts of the students who made the day memorable for everyone.

The Chief Guest was Brig Joydip Mukherjee(Commandant, The Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Center, Belagavi) along with the Guests of Honor, Joint Secretary, KLE Society ,Mr. Sunil S Jalalpure (Principal, KLE College of Pharmacy, Belagavi) and Dr. Veereshkumar Nandgoan (Principal, KLE Nursing College, Belagavi).

The Annual Day was indeed a day to be cherished and regaled in, by one and all, as affirmed by Principal, Mrs. Dipti Ingley, as the vibrant culture of India, depicted in the 2-day programme was portrayed in such stunning forms that it lifted the spirits of one and all, compelling everyone present to dance for joy and feel proud to be an Indian!

National Law Day

Constitution Day- Samvidhāna Divasa, also known as 'National Law Day', is celebrated in India on 26th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26th January, 1950. KLES' International School, Belagavi, celebrated the Constitution day on 26th November 2022 by conducting a special assembly which was conducted by class 8 students. The pledge was administered wherein the students vowed to abide by the tenets in the constitution. The students also enlightened all about the values and principles enshrined in the Constitution.
